Stewart Gray
Stewart Gray is a British Singer Songwriter and performs with a 12-string guitar. He has been writing songs from the day he could play 4 guitar chords at 17 years old, then forming several bands leading them as the main song writer for each venture.
A track from his first band, “Nouveau - a - go -go” appeared on the Brighton label, Attrix, who released Voltage80, called ‘Letsgo2 (The Dying Ground)’. Stewart has released a number of solo albums written and recorded in his home studio, Bright Sky Falling, The Silver Rain Tapes, Motorolocity, St. Valentine, tracks on Soundcloud.
In writing the songs for Blue Sky Falling’s debut album, “Last Chance Saloon” the instrumentation has led the songs lyrically into an Americana vibe, reflecting old Western Movies and TV series of the 1960s and 1970s.
Barry Wickens
Barry Wickens is an English musician, multi-instrumentalist and composer. Primarily a violinist and guitarist, he also plays mandolin, viola, Appalachian dulcimer (psaltery), dobro and keyboards. He is best known for being one of the longest-serving members of Steve Harley's rock group Cockney Rebel, and for being a former member of the pop group Immaculate Fools. He also taught violin and guitar in schools for Create Music, formerly Brighton & Hove Music & Arts, between 2001 and 2023.
Outside of Cockney Rebel and Immaculate Fools, Wickens has been involved in recording sessions for a number of artists, including John Martyn, Lick the Tins, Howard Jones, The River Detectives, Thrashing Doves, Martin Grech, along with TV and radio recordings of the Americana musicians The Milroys, and Folk Alliance Award nominee Diana Jones. He has also performed with Nick Pynn at a number of live events.
Del Hallett
Born and raised in Brighton, British singer Del Hallett discovered his lifelong passion for music at an early age with the constant playing of recorded music around the house and encouragement from his parents. After years of informal singing, from school-aged choirs to karaoke nights in his mother’s pub, Del began a band career in his mid-thirties.
Fronting various indie-rock outfits he co-founded Vibe Promotions to support emerging original acts and later performing lead vocals. Del still remains active in the cover bands Dakota, Revolver, and Crossfire. He has also sung backing vocals with Glenn Tilbrook of Squeeze and sung lead on the track, “Ghislaine” on Soma Dolls’ 2025 album release, “Real Time Falls”.
Sharing vocals and percussion with the original song material of Blue Sky Falling however, is where Del’s passion fundamentally lies whilst being a devoted supporter of live music, he attends dozens of gigs each year and remains passionate about discovering new talent.
